The chillest prep ever.

Tai had the most lovely morning, having a Masters in Makeup and Hair meant that Tai got to be her own art for her beautiful day. Creating the most beautiful look and getting ready with just her closest loved ones at her mum's beautiful unique home.

To be able to see the love and excitement in the home was amazing. There was nothing but happiness, laughter and chit chat.

The little details

Tai and Jared thought of everything for their day. From florals created by Tai's mum which even came from her own garden for added specialness, to lucky pennies for everyone, beautiful dried petals for confetti and the most amazing homemade vegan lemon sponge also baked by Tai's amazing mama.

The little details really made their day so special. The rustic beautiful vibe really aligned with the amazing humanist celebrant ceremony they had in front of their closest family.

What an intimate and personal ceremony this was!

I swear there wasn't a dry eye, well except for Jared. The man's a machine. Even the ice queen Tai shredded a tear or 3. The ceremony was so special, from start to finish everything was so thought out and planned so thoroughly with The Island Celebrant, Jeni.

It was so important to Jared and Tai to have their children involved throughout. They were able to stand with the couple and even shoot bubble guns around them throughout which made for a beautiful first kiss. They also had a marriage certificate made for the two to sign for their parents as their witnesses for their day, which was just so stunning and personal.

WOW, the cake, oh my god, literally the most amazing vegan lemon sponge I have ever tasted. The couple chose to do the cake cutting and sharing during the ceremony which was just perfect sharing a slice with all the guests midway through. It is also both kid's fave cake, so that's another must.

To complete the ceremony they did a jumping of the broom which was perfectly decorated with photographs of the couple and straight into confetti which had to be done twice, so the kid's could be involved.

From start to finish the whole ceremony was well thought out, it was beautiful and personal and emotional. It was perfect in everyway.

The icing on the cake!

Oh my god, wow. I still cannot get over the exciting adventure we went on after the couple had celebrated with friends and family. Having an amazing buffet and fun on Jared's fathers stables we escaped on an adventure around the beautiful island.

Heading to Headon Warren first, a beautiful amazing cliff which created an insanely gorgeous backdrop for portraits. We sat and watched the ships and yachts passing by. The beautiful purple heather covering the cliff was just stunning.

Then realising the sun was setting super quick we had a mad dash to Compton Bay for the final beautiful setting of the sun. Getting steamy in the water and on the sand with a lot of snogging, Tai and Jared laughed, danced, ran it was just perfect.

Then to finish off the evening we all got warm in the truck with an incredible car take away, we ate spicy chinese food. It was just the most perfect end for the day. I mean any day ending in chinese food is a winner isn't it?
