Edinburgh City Wedding Photographer

There are weddings, and then there are weddings—the kind that leave a lasting impression with their blend of fun, chaos, and heartfelt moments. Beth & Steve's wedding in Edinburgh was nothing short of spectacular. From the chilled start to a dance-filled ending, their day was a perfect reflection of their personalities: vibrant, full of energy, and brimming with love.

A Relaxed Start to the Day

The morning began as any dream wedding should: calm, laid-back, and filled with excitement. Both Beth and Steve opted for a relaxed vibe as they got ready with their closest friends. No rushing, no fuss—just a quiet buzz of anticipation.

Beth, radiant as ever, spent her morning surrounded by her bridesmaids, laughter echoing through the rooms as they sipped on Prosecco. Meanwhile, Steve and his crew were equally chilled, sharing a few beers while donning their suits and cracking jokes. It was the perfect start to what would be an unforgettable day.

The Ceremony: When Dogs Steal the Show

Fast forward to the ceremony, where everything seemed to be going smoothly... until the dogs entered the picture. Beth and Steve are proud dog parents, and their furry friends were as much a part of the celebration as anyone else. But dogs being dogs, they had their own ideas of how to behave.

The moment the ceremony began, the pups decided it was time for some chaos, running around, jumping on the couple and deciding to get on the table during the signing which made everyone howl with laughter. But that’s what made it so special, it was perfectly imperfect and completely Beth & Steve.

Wedding Gang Fun: Popping Fizz & Making Memories

After the ceremony, it was time for the wedding party photos, and boy, did Beth & Steve’s crew bring the energy! Armed with bottles of fizz ready to pop, the entire gang embraced the spirit of celebration. Fizz flew through the air as laughter the space gated garden candid photos of pure fun and wildness.

The gang wasn’t afraid to get a little silly either, from playful poses to impromptu dance moves. These weren’t your typical staged wedding shots; they were moments of genuine camaraderie and shared happiness. You could feel the connection between friends and family, all united to celebrate this beautiful couple.

Portraits Around Edinburgh: A City of Magic

What better place to capture wedding portraits than the historic streets of Edinburgh? Beth and Steve made the most of the city's stunning backdrops, taking their portraits at some iconic spots. From cobblestone streets to blossom covered pavements, each moment felt like it was pulled straight from a romantic film.

And, of course, there was that moment—the classic dip kiss with Edinburgh Castle standing tall in the background. I mean who doesn't love a dip kiss?

The Wild Entrance & Heartfelt Speeches in the Coolest Cellar

After their portraits, it was time for the reception, and Beth & Steve didn’t just walk into the room—they made a wild entrance. With the crowd cheering, everyones arms waving their napkins and grins plastered on their faces. The energy was electric, setting the perfect tone for the evening ahead.

Their venue, a cozy, candlelit cellar, was hands-down one of the coolest reception spaces ever. With its red stone walls and intimate warm vibe, it was the perfect setting for the heartfelt speeches that followed.

A Dance-Filled Party to End the Night

Once the formalities were out of the way, it was time to let loose. And let me tell you, Beth and Steve’s guests knew how to party! The dance floor came alive with moves that would put even the best party-goers to shame. From classic hits to modern beats, no one stayed seated for long.

Beth and Steve shared their first dance—slow and sweet before it transformed into a full-on dance-off between them and their wedding party. The energy was contagious, and soon the entire crowd was twirling, spinning, and celebrating the night away. There’s nothing quite like seeing a room full of people, young and old, coming together for a night of joy and dancing.
