RELAXED OXFORD WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
The rain didn't rain on their parade! Megan and Martin's wedding at Oxford Town Hall was a celebration of emotions, intimacy, and the unbreakable bond they share. Despite the persistent rain throughout the day, the couple's love shone through, making it a truly unforgettable experience with lots of smiles and laughter!
OXFORD RANDOLPH HOTEL WEDDING
The day began at the elegant Randolph Hotel in Oxford, where Megan and Martin chose to prepare for their special day. Megan, surrounded by the warmth of her mother and best friend, shared precious moments as they helped her into her stunning wedding gown. Meanwhile, Martin opted for a more solitary experience, getting ready on his own, perhaps relishing in the quiet moments before the whirlwind of the day unfolded.
first look and private vows
Megan and Martin wanted to do their day, their way. They wanted to have a private first look before their ceremony with their friends and family. It was such a beautiful and private moment being able to see each other before the ceremony and being able to say their private words to each other before saying others before friends and family. I would 100% recommend this to any couple who wants to make their day about them and more personal.
OXFORD TOWN HALL WEDDING CEREMONY
As the raindrops fell outside, Martin embarked on a charming journey to the town hall. Making a pitstop at Greggs for a snack, he embraced the simplicity of the moment, finding joy in the little things that make a wedding day truly unique.
The ceremony itself was a testament to the couple's close-knit circle of friends and family. A dear friend officiated the ceremony, adding a personal touch to the union. Adding an unexpected twist to tradition, Megan's sister's partner played the role of a flower boy, substituting petals with M&M's to symbolize the sweetness of Megan and Martin's love. The gesture added a delightful and unique touch to the ceremony, leaving everyone smiling despite the weather outside.
RAIN DOESN'T STOP THE FUN
The rain persisted, forcing the couple to take their portrait shots indoors at both the town hall and the Randolph Hotel. However, Megan and Martin embraced the challenge, creating stunning images that showcased the beauty of both venues. The historic and elegant surroundings provided a picturesque backdrop, making the weather a mere afterthought.
BACK TO THE RANDOLPH HOTEL
After the ceremony, as the rain continued to pour, Martin had to improvise and find a black cab to get back to the Randolph Hotel. A spontaneous adventure that added an element of excitement to their day and a story to tell for years to come.
The newlyweds, undeterred by the weather, opted for an intimate sit-down meal post-ceremony. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, the couple savoured the warmth and love in the air. The rain outside couldn't dampen the joy that filled the room as friends and family toasted to Megan and Martin's love story.
In the end, Megan and Martin's wedding day was a beautiful reminder that love is the true focal point of any celebration. Rain or shine, their commitment to each other and the support of their loved ones created an atmosphere of love and joy that will be cherished for a lifetime.
