When you think of a wedding that feels like stepping into a Canadian mountain lodge, with towering stone walls and huge wooden beams with perfect views surrounding it. Nia & Andy’s day at The Vale Country Club in Rhuthin is the one. This wedding screamed wild heart and a whole lot of soul.

The Morning – Calm, Cool & Full of Love

The day began in the most relaxed way. Andy kept things simple, getting ready solo at home, just him (although he did pop out for breakfast of course). Meanwhile, Nia was surrounded by her most important people at her parents’ home. It was a morning of laughter and the kind of gentle chaos that only comes from a room full of love and comfort.

The Ceremony – Sunshine, Breezes & a Veil That Stole the Show

The couple said their vows outdoors under a perfectly blue sky. The sun showed up strong, but a fresh breeze kept things just right. (Special shoutout to that breeze for becoming a fully unpaid actor, Nia’s veil had its own dramatic moment and we were here for it.) The setting, the smiles, and that pure feeling of “this is exactly right” you could feel it in the air.

The Drinks Reception – Where the Party Really Started

Nia & Andy are massive music lovers, so it was no surprise the vibe turned UP during the drinks reception. Enter: Franchesqua Sings. If you don’t know who she is – pause right here and look her up. Her voice? Angelic. Her energy? Infectious. She had every girlie out of their seats, dancing like it was at a summer festival. Seriously, follow her, she's a star!

And if dancing wasn’t enough, Birdie Photobooth rolled up with vintage ice cream bumper realness, serving scoops from the cutest setup you’ve ever seen. Cute AF is an understatement.

The Speeches – One Word: ICONIC.

After a feast that had everyone full and happy, it was time for speeches. And let’s just say, Andy’s mates proper understood the assignment. His best woman Tara and the groomsmen blew everyone away with an original song all about Andy, complete with a slideshow of his greatest (and most hilarious) hits from over the years. Honestly? Best speech ever. Tara Bandito, for those who don’t know, is a Welsh music gem – and she owned that moment (soz lads)

Golden Hour Portraits – A Quiet Pause Before the Next Chapter

Post-speeches, we stole a little time with the couple for portraits. Just a moment to breathe, laugh, and take it all in before heading back inside to turn the energy back up.

The Evening – First Dances, Family Moments & One Spilled Shot

As evening settled in, Nia & Andy shared their first dance and just when you thought your heart couldn’t take any more sweetness, their little girl joined in. It was the perfect mix of romance and family love. The dancefloor quickly filled, and the rest of the night was a blur of joy, music, and people absolutely living their best lives.

And yes, I did witness Andy drinking a spilled shot off a saucer. Iconic behaviour.
